Introduction to  Family Law

Ms Aishah Winter is an experienced Singapore family lawyer, who will share her knowledge regarding these sensitive issues. She will present the latest legal developments on family law, parental child abductions and relocation of children across international borders.

Ms Lorraine Lim from SCWO (Singaporean Council Of Women Organization) will also be present at the seminar. She will highlight the services available at the SCWO for maintenance application of wife and children in Singapore.

About The Speaker

  Aishah Winter - Fidelis Law Corporation   Ms Aishah Winter is an Associate Director of Fidelis Law Corporation.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the National University of Singapore in 2009 and was admitted to the Singapore bar in 2010.  Aishah has practiced exclusively in cross-border and domestic family law since 2012 and during that time has developed a healthy practice in all aspects of family law.  She has acted for a range of private clients with a particular focus on international family law disputes.  Her other areas of practice also include civil and commercial litigation, Syariah law, probate, inheritance and debt recovery.  She is also an active member of the Law Society of Singapore Muslim Law Practice Committee since 2012 and regularly volunteers at the Singapore Council of Women’s Organization Legal Clinic since 2014.  She is also the Honorary Secretary for Star Shelter since 2017.

Lorraine also handles Maintenance Support Central (MSC), the other direct client service under SCWO, which is a multi-service drop-in centre assisting with matters concerning spousal and child maintenance.
