Business Law is a very deep and diverse topic. Complex issues will not be covered (such as Patent Law, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Shareholder Agreements, dispute resolution processes and cryptocurrency investments etc).

About The Speaker
Lucy is a passionate supporter of the start-up ecosystem in South East Asia.
Originally an Oxford-educated corporate lawyer, she decided to use her powers for good instead of evil, and founded Upstart Alliance in 2015 to provide legal to start-ups and growing businesses on their terms: in language they understand, by people they can relate to, at a price they can afford.
Having spent more of her career in Asia than the UK, Lucy has extensive experience around region, in Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.
For the last 5 years she has focused specifically on technology law and start-ups.
Lucy’s specialisms include: Tech, Startups, Investment, and Structuring.
Lucy graduated from Oxford University, with a BA (Hons) and is a registered Solicitor of England & Wales (2009) and is registered with the Solicitors Regulatory Authority in England.
She has been practising in Singapore for the past eight years.
