Workcentral is a co-working environment. The space encourages participation amongst its members, while also encouraging a strong and fair work ethic. In order to make the space enjoyable for all, Membership comes with the following rules and responsibilities:

SPACE & NOISE

  • Workcentral is a shared office, community, and event space.

  • Be kind and show respect to both members and visitors. Let’s strive to use the space as a quiet and focused work environment.

    • Keep conversations on the phone, or with other co-workers to a reasonably low volume. Lively conversation should be kept to the Brew House, Dining Hall, Meeting Rooms, Skype Booths or outside.

    • Ring volume on mobile phones should be turned down to a level that doesn’t disturb other members.

  • Do not remove or touch personal belongings of other co-workers. If you think that it is a misplaced item, kindly approach WorkCentral concierge for assistance.

  • Take good care of everything in the space. If you break it, you will be charged for it.

  • Strictly no smoking within the premises.

  • Seats in hotdesk areas are not meant to be permanent seats for any Member, regardless of membership type. As such, Members are advised that their belongings should not be left unattended at the seat for more than 2 hours, particularly when Workcentral is close to full capacity. Items left for more than 2 hours may be removed so that other Members can use the unoccupied seat.

GUESTS

  • Members must be physically present with guests at all times.

  • Guests are allowed only in Meeting Rooms, the Brew House and the Dining Hall. Please register your guest at the concierge before bringing them in.

  • The co-working space is primarily for the use of paying Members. As such, Members may entertain a maximum of 2 guests at a time. Guests may stay for a maximum of 2 hours. If guests stay beyond 2 hours, they will be charged day passes at the following rates:

 
 


FAIR USE OF MEETING ROOMS

  • Meeting rooms should be booked in advance using cash or credits.

  • However, if meeting rooms are empty, Members may use them without incurring extra charges up to maximum allowance.

  • Maximum allowance: Booth, Team Seating & Suites - 2hrs per day | Hotdesk - 1hr per day

  • Each company may use only 1 meeting room for up to 1 hour at any time.

  • Members must be physically present when booking under fair use. Reservations may be made from 1 hour before the meeting room is needed.

  • Paid bookings in all cases takes priority over Fair Use reservations.

  • Meeting rooms may be used for meetings and not for other work. Virtual meetings are also valid.

 

Member Credit

  • Bookings using credit maximum up to 2hrs per session.

  • Up to 2 rooms at a time.

  • No restrictions on sessions per day.

Paid Usage

  • No restrictions in bookings.

 
 

AESTHETICS

  • Artworks on display are on loan to Workcentral. Please do not touch or remove them. If you damage it, you will have to buy it.

  • We ask members not to place artwork on the walls without prior permission from Workcentral.



CLEANLINESS

  • Members are expected to keep the desks and common areas clean. Items are to be kindly removed from all hotdesks by the end of the day. (If items are left overnight, we will remove and store them at front desk to be retrieved the following work day from 9am onwards)

  • Please recycle where possible. We provide recycling bins for metal cans and plastic in the Brew House. Recycling Bins for paper are in the Print Room, East & West Wings.

  • Observe basic meal manners. The microwave should be cleaned after use. Also, do ensure that food is disposed / stored properly. Place used dishes and cups in the return tray in the Brew House.

  • All personal items left in the fridge will be cleared on Fridays..



SECURITY / NETWORK

  • Make sure access doors are closed at all times. 24/7-Security relies on it.

  • No illegal torrenting, piracy or downloading of prohibited materials.

  • If you need to download or upload something extremely large, please let others know, or do it out of office hours



ELECTRICITY, & AIR-CONDITIONING

  • Help to conserve energy by turning off devices that are not in use.

  • If you are the last person to leave, please turn off the lights.

Here are the regular operating hours of the different spaces. The space may on occasion be used for private events and members may need to move to another work area for a duration. We will do our best to announce to the member community in advance of any known changes or disruptions.
